Waiting for Rain

By now everyone must be aware of how serious global warming is. Some days back a girl in our campus fainted and was unconscious for more than an hour! All around me I can see people and friends suffering from heat rashes and boils. I just thank god that nothing of that sort has happened to me yet. But seriously the summer heat this time is really very bad(people keep saying the weather is better in my city! I wonder how hellish it is at the others?) . It gets worse when you have to commute by public transport, where you are jammed with people, the sweat and grime : completely disgusting!
Using the buses to do your little bit of saving money and reducing pollution is great... But damn! cannot we have more buses so that people might feel like travelling in them?!
I caught a share auto two days back and started listening to music on my phone. A lady was sitting beside me, her hand was pressed against my hand, I was so engrossed in music that only after she got down I realized all her sweat was smeared on my hands!!!!!!!! It was so disgusting that I rushed and took a shower after reaching home.
One cannot even do anything about it except pray that it rains and the weather gets better. Just today when we were having assembly in our college, all of us stood under the shade(at the side of the stage), but the tyrants that some of our teachers are, they made a lot of us girls go stand in front of the stage where the sun was merciless.
Everyday I look out of the class the minute the sun seems to be a little fainter then before and hope that it rains. Well that is all I can do... wait for rain.
